he's pro abortion or not.

How many times is this crap going to get posted? Thompson has a 100% pro-life Senate record. His views prior to that were still libertarian and within the context of the pro-life movement at the time.

Seriously, it's time the Mods & Jim start deleting these posts which are nothing but lies and FReepers going back and forth on it.

I don’t support deleting posts.

That leads nowhere good.

Fred also supported Title X which would have provided $5 billion in funding for global warming research - based on IPCC recommendations. Look it up.

That isn’t true:

“The NRLC itself on at least three occasions during Mr. Thompson’s Senate term included votes related to McCain-Feingold as key votes on their congressional scorecard, votes needed to ensure the vitality of the pro-life movement. Mr. Thompson received a failing grade each time by voting for McCain-Feingold.”
