Ron Paul is insane.

It was the brown acid, man, the brown f**kin acid.

If (Fred) drops out, we’re doomed. No sarcasm here.

It is (was) more than obvious that Fred is not a good campaigner or Presidential candidate.

A great US Senator? Yep.

A decent character actor? Certainly.

But the bulk of the Republican base realized fairly quickly that Fred would simply not be an effective candidate to put up against the much younger and energetic O=Bomb=o Brack-a.

Or sHrillary, for that matter.

Conservative credentials are simply not enough in the age of TV cameras out the wazoo, and instant Internet coverage.

A candidate has to be lightning quick, and fast on their feet.

Fred was a lot of things, but he certainly was not fast on his feet.

I sent him money, and will do so again... just to help retire his campaigning debt.

But the time has come for anyone with one shred of logic and love for conservative America and/or the Republican Party to consider getting behind Romney.

Don't mean to be a broken record, but what other options does a conservative of sound mind and soul have?

I really really wish Hunter would choose other venues, and if they want his input or comment, tell them to go there for it. As I told you before, I canceled fox and I seldom watch any of the others anyway.

I just posted this response on another thread:

“...and if Hillary is elected because people self-righteously stay home on Election day, you may never again get to cast a meaningful vote: a Democratic sweep means big time amnesty & naturalization moves over the next 4 years, resulting in millions of new and permanently Democratic voters. So next time around, that principled vote of yours will be even lonelier. Think about it.”

Time for Plan B, FReadheads. I respectfully suggest, again, Romney is the best alternative.

I can live with either Romney or Giuliani but McCain is beyond redemption and Huckabee is pretty damn pianful. At least with the first two, they'll try to keep taxes low and prosecute the WOT. Romney also talks a good talk on immigration.

Nope - instead he should do this:

Endorse Mitt Romney. Tell Mitt that if he adopts Fred’s platform for immigration, taxes, and social security, that he’ll gladly serve as his running mate.

;-)

I think it’s more like one story versus ten stories.

It's not the fall, it's the landing. When that landing comes, you'll know what I mean.

People are shallow.

They want ‘Glitter’ and not ‘substance’.

They want to vote for a President like they vote for a singer on “American Idol”.

Sitting out the election and helping elect Hillary should get you banned from here anyway. None of the Republican candidates are as bad as Hillary or Obama. If you don’t vote you are directly responsible for whatever happens. And if you are responsible for electing Hillary maybe DU or KOS is more up your alley!

Unfortunately, there's no way to hold Romney to such promises.

It is the vaunted GOP base that have nominated the two biggest liberal and media arse kissers.

Only if you buy into the MSM's obsession over huck and mcCain.

Romney cheerleaders like myself are more than enthusiastic and energized.

Limbaugh has joined the Romney bandwagon, if not with outright endorsement, at least with praise and support.

"I am certain that Mitt Romney's conversion to ProLife causes are genuine," Limbaugh said today, Monday Jan.21.
