I’d thank McCain if I ever ran into him. I consider him to be a great hero, but he is so unbelievably dangerous in any position of power.

I respect those of you who express these sentiments, though I am inclined to go with whatever candidate the Republicans ultimately nominate. I liked Duncan Hunter, but that was then, this is now, and I’ll just wait and see what the convention brings.

As far as what Tom Delay thinks, I don’t much care. I thought Delay left Washington in disgrace and was among the cast of scummy actors whose antics helped cause the Republican party to lose control of the Congress. As far as I’m concerned, nothing he has to say is of interest to me unless it might be “I’m sorry I let the party down”. I won’t be influenced by anything he has to say about the forthcoming election.
