great find....great read...
“a life sentence of disrepute and dishonor imposed upon us by a left wing media which had been too easily manipulated by America’s enemies.”....great line.

And pass the word:
John McCain consistently calls the traitor John F’in Kerry “my dear friend”, and that means McCain is NO friend of mine and will never get my vote, not now, not ever.

This was in out local paper this morning.

They did a little digging on the “Crazed Killers” around here. Looks like the soldiers are pretty much better than the normal civilian crowd their age.

Oh, this is GOOD! Yes, that is exactly how I felt from 1971 to 2004, and how I felt during the 2004 election, and how I feel now as I read and re-read

Thanks. I’m glad not all the local papers are buying the NYT agitprop.

It is a powerful piece. Russ Vaughn didn't become the "poet laureate" of the anti-Kerry movement for nothing.
I was pleased to be able to tell Russ shortly after the 2004 election that Col. Bud Day (MOH) had chosen to read his poem The Last Battle of Vietnam to a joint gathering of Swift Vets and POWs in Philadelphia.
To: Interesting Times
Ah, that was great! I’m glad Colonel Bud Day (Medal of Honor, Prisoner of War in the Hanoi Hilton) used that poem to openly acknowledge what the Swift Boat Veterans did for all of us.
