Another facet -
illegals do the work that those on the gov’t dole would do if they had to in order to eat and have a place to live.
The wages paid to unskilled illegal peasant laborers here in the US are 40 to 60 percent below the wages paid to American workers in the 60's and 70's, when adjusted for inflation.
Enforce the labor and immigration laws through fines, jailtime, deportation, and every other legal means, and the American emmployer will be forced to pay a fair and livable wage which will attract people off of the dole.
