One day after a devastating loss to Senator John McCain in the South Carolina primary, Mike Huckabee visited Huck supporter Chuck Norris’ Lone Wolf Ranch near College Station TX for a fundraiser that included him playing with his old band. During a press avail prior to the event, Huckabee took a moment to speak to reporters on the tough defeat the night before.

Huck as usual has only a passing acquantance with the facts.
Huck blaming Thompson for his defeats misses a bigger factor:
He is an unqualified buffoon of a candidate who is running in the wrong party, has gotten as far as he did on dirty tactics (like robo-push-polling) and is NOT even a true conservative. Rather he is a prolife populist with a shallow and non-conservative view of the constitution, foreign policy and other important issues.
Huckabee will, thankfully, not be our nominee.
He needs to go away, fast.

Correct. Huckabee is finished. His supporters need to find better candidates. Huck knows he cant be Prez and is just shooting for enough delegates to force McCain to give him the VP slot. The McCain/Huckster ticket is an abysmal contraption.

Yes. Unless Jesus tells them not to. Then they are not only allowed to help the illegals. They are allowed to lie about helping them. They are also allowed to change their position on the issue in time for the national elections because Jesus really, really wants them to be President.

I have to chuckle at the republican faithful who take their candidates so seriously. I wonder why none of them are disheartened by the fact that a republican administration has led this country into economic, geopolitical, and moral disaster. What a bunch of ridiculous hypocrites these republican candidates are! None of them address the undermining of the U.S. Constitution, the evisceration of the rule of law and individual liberties, and the near-total collapse of our economic under their sage, W. Bush. They just wrap themselves in the flag and thump the bible. Pitiful, truly pitiful.When the final history of the U.S. is written, these 8 years will be marked as the start of a precipitous fall of an empire. And you republicans blather on about patriotism!
