I will not vote for McCain. I will not hold my nose and vote for McCain against a democrat.

It would be better to have Obama or Hillary as president and be the opposition party and disprove the "America is bigoted" crowd instead of McCain unifying the parties and backstabbing Republicans the whole time he's president.

It will be the first presidential election I've ever sat out.

McCain loves working with the Democrats and compromising (surrendering) our liberties. Witness McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Leiberman, etc.

Compromising with liberals means giving up more of our freedoms. You never see a liberal giving us MORE freedom, they only take (see tagline).

McCain is a turncoat and if he gets the nod, we can expect a McCain/Leiberman ticket.

They’ll be running on the Sour/Loserman platform.

I HAVE to vote. But I will not vote for most of the 'republican' field..A dem will be able to stack the court for a lot of years, but McCain won't stop that from happening...

You say, in your #33, "I will not hold my nose and vote for McCain against a democrat." I think the pragmatism of Ronaldus Magnus should prevail in politics:
"Die-hard conservatives thought that if I couldn't get everything I asked for, I should jump off the cliff with the flag flying--go down in flames," Reagan told the New York Times in 1985. "No, if I can get 70 or 80 percent of what it is I'm trying to get, yes I'll take that and then continue to try to get the rest in the future."
I want Fred to win the nomination, but if he doesn't, I'll support the nominee of my party, then try to get the party back on track. Less radical, but more conservative.
