My prolife group used to give out those little plastic babies outside of high schools. I like to think they were pretty effective in educating young girls.

The other effective thing was the pin of the little unborn baby’s feet...actual size of those of a 3-month’s in utero baby.

Now if someone could incorporate a tiny chip that imitates the sound of a 12-week fetus’ heart beat, the sensitivities of the complainers would REALLY be freaked out. A video of a 12-week ultrasound should be part of every high school sex-ed curriculum. I bet it is not included at all.

But having attended one I thought that one of the most thought-provoking parts of the show, in a room by itself, was a series of real preserved human fetuses. Even as a relatively educated person I had not been aware how perfectly formed a 12 week-old fetus really is.

I think that seeing this might have a much more profound effect on most people than receiving a plastic fetus in the mail.
