Obama's a good example of this. Initially, I thought he was a stalking horse and an eventual running mate for Hillary, to help her deal with her popularity problems among a large part of the Democrat base and with independents.

The last few months have definitely disabused me of that ntion. The monkey-cage style excrement flinging going on between the campaigns is standing out to me as very atypical of a Clinton campaign. She and her advisors have really started to lose their composure.

Yeah that's all true, but in the end, if it looks like hillary will not have a shot without oblama, stranger things have happened.

We need to take a page from the Dem/rats play book. They are united far better than we are and it hurts us from time to time.

For example. There is nothing too grievous foul, illegal or bad a demorat can do that will not be forgiven by the party whole if necessary, ever hear of William Jefferson of NO?

Now I am not advocating that we go that route! If one of ours gets out of line we deal with them in a fair and just manner.

But we need to support one another a lot better than we have if we want to get the socialists out of Congress and keep them out of the White House.

Wow, Schieffer is bashing Tommy Franks. First he thinks to lecture Franks on how to fight a war, and now he's talking about Franks taking money for the use of his name to raise money for wounded veterans.

I'll have to look into that second accusation, but the idea that Bob Schieffer, with about 5 years experience in the Air Force as a PAO, has anything to useful to contribute on military strategy to a general with 36 years of experience as a combat officer is laughable on its face.

He cited "the first rule of warfare" as "only invading when you have an overwhelming advantage." Since when is the Powell Doctrine "the first rule of warfare?" Maybe Schieffer ought to go back and lecture Alexander the Great on why he shouldn't have invaded the Persian Empire, the largest empire in history at the time, with only 42,000 men. Then he could explain why Caesar was a fool for attempting to conquer Gaul with less than 50,000 men, when his enemy could muster more than six times that number.

What an idiot.
