If the country were tired of dogma, Hillary and Obama would not stand a chance of winning. But they do so the comment does not work, IMHO. Voters are not evaluating realities of the candidates but voting purely from emotions. For our side, I belive that will change in short order once Republicans begin wake up.
We now see right through any bias on any net so it really does not matter which channel we pick. We get their bias immediately.
The key is to point it out and blast there sorry butts every time they get off the fair and balanced reservation.
I don’t listen to Sean on the radio because I can not stand that ‘true American’ schtick.
On Friday night I heard Lou Dobbs refer to the Republicans as the “party of large corporations” and turned my TV off.
After listening to Romney this morning on FNS, I’m beginning to think he was correct.
THanks Morgan, hope its not too cold out there.
I listen off and on to Sean. I appreciate what he’s doing and how he does it but my guess is more Freepers already know 99% of everything Hannity talks about.
They just played a clip of Clinton being untruthfull about what Obama said about ideas.
Doris avoids addressing that and instead goes to the role Clinton is playing in the campaign.
A strong contrast to John Kerry, who got a disposable cell phone and gave the number only to his sister, so she could call and tell him how his mother was doing on her death-bed while he was out campaigning in 2003.
We always like you HC!
I am looking forward to our caucuses. I have not heard anything positive towards McCain yet and I will be surprised if I do.
Thank you, Laverne, I have noticed that about Mr. Kelly.
You are right, and I can see him in my mind doing that! It is a bit nauseating! I will refrain from now on.
MTP panel asking “What would Bill’s role be in a Hillary White House?”.
Easy: He’ll be the attack dog.
Just as he is now in the campaign.
As a lifelong Central Floridian (born and raised) your post is right on!
That’s the spirit HC, go get em!
It is interesting to contrast the tone of voice that Wallace uses to interview Romney - agressive and abrupt
compared with the voice he uses to interview Schumer - conciliatory and soft.
You must know that the party of the small businessman is the Republican party. I think you based some of your comment on “the party of big business” on the format and tone of the Romney interview, not the facts.
Using tone and shape is what tv commentators use to promote a conclusion in the mind of the viewer. We must always be discriminating in our acceptance of their message.
