Close 53 - 45 saying he should
I think I will follow the advice of another freeper, and ignore the troll.
At least the other guy gave me a capital “T”!
If there is no truth whatever in the smear attempts it will backfire on them
I saw a McCain event on the USS packed with a huge loud crowd. They got loudest when he promised that he would end VA medical care as it exists today - drive an hour to wait in line to wait in line to make an appointment to make an appointment - (he said it so many times that I memorized his words) by giving every veteran a card that they could take to whatever doctor or hospital they chose!
Uproarious cheers!!!
If all the veterans who live in SC bought this promise then I can see his winning numbers.
Just like Huckabee and his support in Iowa, McCain is not going to find the same huge numbers of veterans in other states.
Listen closely to the comments by Brit, Mara, Juan and William today. They are enlightening from an observers point of view.
Thanks :) That’s about the same as it was earlier.
Trying to collect my thoughts today.. I’m baffled at the direction the GOP seems to be taking.
I can’t bring myself to watch them, Morgan in Denver, but anything you might want to share with us?
Those delegates could end up being the deciding delegates!!!
******
Wouldn’t that be a poke in the eye for the DBM!!!
I agree. If he had jumped in last Spring when he was rolling hot, he would have quickly become the favorite. By waiting and demurely contemplating his muses, he lost his momentum. He never regained the strong footing he had in April when he was unstoppable, but uncommitted.
Fred made the mistake he could run in this time's crazy campaign with last time's more sensible expectations. Picking a nominee nine months before the election is nuts, but that's what it is, unfortunately. The news cycle has trumphed good sense.
By August, one will be able to cut the "Buyer's Remorse" in the GOP with a butter knife. But we'll be too late. We will most likely be completely screwed and stuck with the worst candidate.
Go to post three and follow the links.
This stuff is simply amazing!!
Agreed.
There is too much and I’d be going from memory of earlier this morning. I’m watching it as a repeat right now. It’s just that Hume’s analysis seems correct and it was interesting to hear Juan Williams admit to the racial problems in the Democrat party while Mara explained how the Democrats were playing dirty, as if it is normal.
That of course was the Presidential election but you never that little state could play an important role in the primary.
I have to respectfully disagree. Kristol has said things that draw support and opposition from all of us. One minute Freepers will be cheering him and then criticizing him a minute later. Kristol seems to be the typical Democrat mindset for USA world influence who became a Republican under Reagan. Neo-con is the term used by many people, and Kristol seems to fit the mold.
Roast pork with roast potatoes and parnips followed by Kent Lent Pie for desert.
Will try to make it HC, but can’t promise. Weekends are spent with my honey!!
But the constitution lives!
Join us on Freedom Radio next Sunday January 27, 7pm est as we talk about a group of defenders of the constitution that of course get little or no press, The Gathering of Eagles. We will be talking with Chris Hill, the National Director of Operations for that group. The man is everywhere! Chris stood out in DC as a speaker of the GOE event to support our troops, a counter to the Code Pinko, ANSWER and Moveon.org disgraces. The GOE is a 501 group that is entirely dependent on contributions from people like us to continue.
For more on the GOE and their wildly successful ventures to defend our country, our troops and our constituion, go to
the Gathering of Eagles link at the top of the FR page or go directly to
