Oh great, next on FNS they are going engage on long winded punditry to whether or not Bubbas outbursts are helping Hillary. The mere fact that they are consuming valuable airtime to cover this while giving short shrift to real ideas and issues answers the question completely IMO.

maica, I live in Indiana, just south of Indianapolis. The democrats have been howling about that voter ID law ever since it was passed. The legislature even took into account poverty (you can free ID and free documentaion to get the ID) and we don't certify an election until 10 days after, giving a challenged voter time to cast a provisional vote, get an ID, and go to the county clerk for certification.
The secretary of state's office has been purging the voter rolls of dead people, people who have moved away, dogs, cats, etc.
I don't think it is a coincidence that a Republican won the mayoral race in Indianapolis last November. Voters were pretty mad about property taxes and crime, but usually the democrats win no matter what. Not this time!

I guess it’s a question of degree. He’s not even in the same league as a McCain or Clinton when it comes to pandering, imho.

Has Black now replaced Afro-American? I can't keep up w/the nomenclature changes. LOL
(Or is it a not so subtle racial contrast and reminder of Hillary's being White?)

The MSM, Rats, and RINO’s are trying to kill Ronald Reagan!
I CALL UPON ALL CONSERVATIVES AND REAGAN REPUBLICANS TO UNIT.
I call upon the “National Review” to place all back issues on a disk (similar to what the “New Yorker”). They could index the volume by topics much like the FR. That disk along with the writings of Goldwater, Kirk and Burke.
We must study the brilliance of RR, the young Buckley and Kirk.

Sadly, the current President has fallen for it just as badly.
$800 per single, $1600 per family? McGovern promised $1000 (although in 1972 dollars)... to Democrats, it’s a handout. To Republicans, it’s a “tax rebate.”
...and we wonder why there’s a leadership problem in this party.

We have a good local race to get involved with in CO: US Senate. If the national goes bust we can still work locally to promote conservatives.

They are salivating at the hit pieces they already have packaged that they are DYING to air on him. This will not be the DBM's tactic because of the latent and justified guilt members, thereof, still feel about their behavior during the Vietnam War.
Their hypocrisy won't allow them to attack McCain, a war hero, personally.
And they won't have to. They've got much better ammo at the ready.

True enough, it’s funny I almost notice CNN sort of trying to chum up a few conservative viewers from time to time but then their evil ways go back to what they do best, promote the DNC.

I was paraphrasing.. just a little. I'm pretty sure they kept their terminology straight.
To Rangle's credit, his answer wasn't bad. In the end, he said that African-Americans are Americans too. (Except, I guess, that they're African).
To: rodguy911
The thing is...we need to get MORE than just the political junkies like you and me and other FReepers to see this.
Until Joe Sixpack who has never heard of FreeRepublic or DU comes to understand what we know about the media...the DBM will continue to get away unchallenged with their manipulation.

Excellent post.
Imho, it shows that the MSM is actually beginning to lose their grip on public opinion and they are becoming increasingly desperate and sloppy.
The internet has replaced the old MSM as the primary news source for many, many people and that trend will continue to grow.

The payments are simply an analog of the Katrina payments with the same predictable results. Fraud, misplaced targets and plenty of credit taken by Big Gov’t proponents of handouts in place of incentives (AKA as Bread and Circuses)

All part of the plan. If bubba can keep the msm concentrating on everything except what they should be, issues of the campaign, he thinks his wench can win and his alimony payments will be over.
Bubba always spends big and then gives someone else the bill.

I'm just getting going and I realize you posted this two hours ago, but it bears repeating:
"If we get McCain as the nominee and whoever is on the other side, we will have essentially one party, the Government Party, where Government knows best and everyone had better just shut up and go along.
People who think McCain is a good choice because he will fight radical islamists had best realize that the amnesty he would shove down our throats would simply destroy the country from within.
If he actually believes in anthropogenic global warming, he is dumb. He isn't though, so the purpose of pushing that hoax is the desire for government control of as much of the private sector and of people's lives as possible. Horrifying."

IMHO the “outbursts” are just as calculated as the “tears” were a couple of weeks ago.
The Clintons know the perception out there is that the media is in the tank for them...so they time these faux “outbursts” to show they aren’t.
Remember...NOTHING with the Clintons EVER happens by chance.
