“What’s left really?”

The death of the Republican Party if McLame is the nominee - he’d never win the general election, and very probably the death of the GOP also if the former mayor of a blighted city is the nominee as well.

Neither of these men come close to representing the ideals of the vast majority of Republicans - neither is anything remotely approaching a Conservative.

“The death of the Republican Party if McLame is the nominee”

I keep hearing this on talk radio but there isn’t any evidence for this. McCain will get the Socon vote, the Hawks and is ok with the fiscons. There has been a shift to the left with the dims so McCain could pick up some independents as well.

Giuliani would lose all of the socons(except Pat Robertson). He also has a type of authoritarian personality that turns off a lot of moderates.

The death of the Republican Party...

The death of the Republican Party>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Already happened.

Tom DeLay was right in his assessment last weeek.

There is no longer a Republican party.

They have handed the Nov. election to the Dems

The primaries have been conducted as if the Republican party was electing a Prom Queen.

I am indeed ashamed.

And there are millions feeling the same way. Welcome to an electoral repeat of Nov. 2006.
