Saddened, there is some pre-Newhart show I use to see her on but I can’t remember.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0687189/
2 episodes of the Fugitive, and on Gunsmoke and Columbo, lots of shows.

I found it on IMDB:
Dr. Robert Hartley: [final lines, Dick wakes up as Bob from “The Bob Newhart Show”] I just had had the strangest dream. I just dreamt that I was married to a beautiful blonde and we owned an inn that was going to be turned into a golf club.
Emily Hartley: [wakes up, turns the light on] That’s it, no more shrimp before bed.
[turns light off]
Emily Hartley: [turns light back on, jealous] Beautiful blonde?

“Better than the alternative.”
Yeah You’re right. Although with 13 year old twins the alternative would be more peaceful. LOL Just kidding, wouldn’t trade it for all for money. :-)

I was just about to cite her role in Nevada Smith but couldn’t think of the name. She wasn’t in it long, but memorable.

The woman who played the beautiful blond on the Newhart show also passed away several years ago. Her first name was Fran, but I can’t remember her last name.

RIP, pretty lady. One of my daughters is named Emily because of her character on the Bob Newhart show. I was a teen when it was first on, and I always liked that name.
BTW, Emily's sister has a TV name too--Corinne. Anyone recall where THAT name came from?

I never knew she was married to Tom Poston! She was such a lovely woman, and I enjoyed every movie or TV show in which I ever saw her act.
