She didn’t have a leading role, but, yes, she was in The Birds. She played the school teacher.

She was one of the most beautiful, talented actresses to ever step foot in Hollywood.
Thanks for all the laughs Suzanne.

>>> What did he say? Was it: Honey, I had the strangest dream or something to that effect.
That, and “you should wear more sweaters...”

Oh yes. It was the last pisode of “Newhart.”
Most often those final episodes are highly touted and then a big letdown (See Seinfeld). This one though, they hit it out of the park.
The audience gasped, rubbed their eyes, realized what was happening when they saw SP’s face next to him in the bed and just went NUTS!

I think it was Honey, I had the strangest dream. I dreamt that I ran an inn in Vermont....or close to that....:)

Bummer. Also saw that the actor that played Sam The Butcher on The Brady Bunch passed away as well.
Jeez I’m getting old, damn the bad luck.

I think it was Honey, I had the strangest dream. I dreamt that I ran an inn in Vermont....or close to that....:)I think that was it. And I think he mentioned he dreamed he was married to another woman, too. That's how I remember it. My dad loved all of Newhart's shows. Great writing, so many laughs, and Suzanne's timing was always perfect.

She really was beautiful. Rarely are strikingly beautiful women also funny. It’s a magical combination. God Bless her, may she rest in peace.
