Wow, sorry to hear this. First of all I had no idea she was 70, and I hadn’t realized she was ill.

What year is that picture from? She was still strikingly beautiful at that age! So sad to see all these icons from my youth dying off. Reminds me that I ain’t getting any younger.

She was one of my favorites. I always wanted to see her cast as the big winner in a movie, but, alas, I can't think of one where she was cast that way. I'm sure she has a 'heavenly' role now. May God bless her and be with her family in their grief.

I remember seeing her in “The Ugly Dachshound”(sp?)many years ago with Dean Jones. What a funny movie that was! I also saw her in “Blackbeard’s Ghost”, with Peter Ustinov (also very funny!). Yeah, I’ll say it too. Rest in peace, Suzanne!

A truly beautiful lady in in movies like THE POWER and BULLWHIP GRIFFIN, IF THIS IS TUESDAY THIS MUST BE BELGIUM.

Down side...
She was shacked up with Michael Douglas for years before he kicked her out and went looking for young stuff.

In the early 1970’s she made a public service announcement or advertisement in which she sounded rough. She would speak, then inhale and it sounded like fingernails on a blackboard. (too many cigarettes?)

Several weeks later the inhale was edited out of the sound.

I wasn’t sure, but as I’ve read Suzanne joined Tom...he only died April 30, 2007, respiratory failure..

Most Recent Role: Merle on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
Alias Name(s): Thomas Poston, Tommy Poston
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Columbus, Ohio (USA)
Birthday: 10-17-1921
Date of Death: 4-30-2007
Cause of Death: respiratory failure
Though many casual observers perceive that comic actor Tom Poston was “discovered” by Steve Allen in 1956, Poston had in fact been a performer long before Allen ever set foot on a stage. At age 9, Poston was a member of the Flying Zebleys, an acrobatic troupe. After Air Force service in World War II, he began his formal acting training at the AADA. Poston made his “legit” New York stage debut...

I was just about to cite her role in Nevada Smith but couldn’t think of the name.

Are you sure you're not thinking of Brenda Vaccaro? She had a low voice, and they were an item for years.

What a beautiful woman she was! I think she was, along with Janet Margolin, the two most beautiful actesses to appear on film.

Support Your Local Sheriff was a riot! I agree, it was the better movie, but I could spend the afternoon watching both.
