Beasley began. "He had one goal and one goal only -- to distort Mike Huckabee's record so John McCain could pull it out. No ifs, ands or buts about it...
This is a dead on statement. Fred never had any intention of winning. He was pulling punches for McCain (who he endorsed in 2000) so he can be McCains Attorney General or similar. I will vote for ANYONE but McAmnesty.

Fred never had any intention of winningI just sent another contribution to Fred08.com. ...Less than 5 minutes ago.
I'm relishing my freedom to show support for the candidate I like, whether he succeeds or not.
I don't want to look back, some day, and kick myself for timidity in standing up for my beliefs.
Even if Fred drops out, one more small voice had a chance to speak out against golden tongued libs like Huckabee.

I have to conjecture that what you say may be entirely true. Both Fred and McLame have been on The Hill for a long time. I got a sneaky feeling that it’s a setup for the US citizen. If McLame gets the nomination, then we’ll have a RHINO POTUS at best with a Dem controlled Congress or worse yet, Hitlery as POTUS because she can beat McLame with all the socialists and Libs in this country.
