Your said all along that there weren’t enough Hunter supporters to matter to anybody! Which is it? I don’t think you want Thompson, I think you’re happy about how this is going.

There aren’t enough supporters to make a difference in the VOTE.
But they are loud enough and vocal enough and hateful enough that they have had a depressing effect on Thompson’s natural base of support in places like FR, where the official conservative consensus is forged.

Had it not been for Hunter’s band of haters — this election’s version of Keye’s 2000 supporters — then there would have never been any contention over FRed as the conservative choice here, and thus anywhere else.

So thanks a lot Hunterites. You’ve really screwed us this time!
You must be proud, you did what Alan Keyes wasn’t able to do 8 years ago.
