Earlier then that. Dec 4, 2006 click on link.
Those of us who pay attention to the candidates' voting records have always been for Fred (that would be the majority of Freeperdom), and it has been agonizing to watch the media treatment of him. Even Fox. Does anybody know, what was this thing about him refusing to go on O'Reilly? Was that a major gaffe by a Thompson staffer, or a stab in the back by an O'Reilly staffer?
If Mr. York is just now seeing it, it is by his own choice for not looking past or under the bushel the MSM has put over Fred’s campaign... Fred is shining despite all of that. Woooo HOOOOO!
No bewilderment here. Evangelicals out there have not been doing their research. Fred should have had that whole voting block, but too many of them have already forgotten the Jimmah Carter rule of politics: Only a fool believes what politicians say during the heat of the campaign.
Just drove up to Malibu last week with my Fred2008 bumper sticker were I attended an NCAA men's volleyball match at Pepperdine wearing my Fred08 cap.
The curious stares were priceless.
Looks like Fred took his surge points out of Romney’s hide.
Because, despite the media lovefest with McCain, he is not Fred's competition in the South; Huckabee is.
He's not delivering lines, written by someone else, and only needing to be memorized. He's speaking extemporaneously. Many folks use uhs and ahs in their speech.
Seems like they've spent the last year shilling for Rudy. They've only noticed the others in the last couple of months, since Rudy's been mostly AWOL from the early primaries.
Oh, that’s very good news!
You can draw the conclusion that people who get the majority of their news/analysis from the internet favor Fred ...can you not?
You can say THAT again! ;o)
Actually, NRO endorsed Romney about a month or so back...but there was an editorial split- several wanted Thompson.
OUCH! I talked to a Catholic friend of mine today who said Huckabee scares the hell outta her.
That would be about 41% of the Republican voters in SC, according to a story I read this morning. That's a LOT of wiggle room for the polls.

Late Fred Mojo [Rich Lowry]
First Read also picked it up:
Final SC Thoughts: And with one of us on the ground in South Carolina, here are a few final thoughts on the GOP contest there: Thompson’s crowd yesterday of more than 400 anti-immigration, national security hardliners was fervent and he was animated, pacing back and forth on the stage gesturing forcefully and talking tough. He got “Amens” and “that’s rights” Perhaps his best performance yet? But one can’t help but feel that had he given his all and had he bought into the process, he could win this thing which he probably won’t. Huck, playing guitar again, drew a smaller crowd than Fred (about 250 to 300) at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. And many on the ground are questioning the level of zeal here among evangelicals compared with Iowa. As for McCain, he’s going to get the veterans and coastal voters. It’s almost as if they’re on a mission. Maybe they even think something’s owed to him from 2000. This state will break three ways the coast, Lexington County and the upstate. McCain solely campaigned at the coast yesterday, while Huckabee and Thompson campaigned in the same neighborhoods upstate.

If they endorsed Romney, it was a change from the sentiment earlier in 2007, which seemed to be all Rudy.
This one, and a homeschooler to boot, doesn't like Huckabee either!
Yep- it was. However, K Lo has always been a Romney girl- and I think her influence was felt in the endorsement.
I truly am optimistic about the SC vote for Fred. I’m hoping and praying he pulls if not First place, then at least Second! Heck, even a strong Third, not too far off second would be fine with me. It would beat all of the media’s expectations, and continue his momentum!
