When many were bailing out on Iraq, McCain strongl backed the Surge and the war and now we won. When they asked him if his strong support for the war will make him lose the elections he said: “ I would rather lose an election than lose the war”, that is what make him a “great Commander in Chief”.
I don’t like John’s opposition to waterboarding. But I hear that Al Quida like John for it!
I agree his stance on the surge and the war in general has been unwavering, but it’s the pro-prisoner stance that baffles and, frankly, upsets me.
