I don’t think Fred would have wasted the time running if he were only intent on VP.
There’s a lot of bad blood between McCain and Mitt, so I’m not sure about that. There’d have to be some serious “burying the hatchet” before I’d believe that.
If I had to guess, it would either be Mitt/? or McCain/Huckabee. (or reverse order)

Mitt still has a substantial lead in the delegate count and a whole lot more money, so February 5 will likely be the determining factor.
