The weather in SC tomorrow is going to be bad. That will change turnout more to the ones who have the more motivated voters and the ones with the best GOTV apparatus.

Sounds like the Ron Paul crowd spam the highway just like they spam internet polls.

Except there are other teams playing at the same time.

Fred Thompson must pass Romney and get close to the top 2.

He has bet the farm on South Carolina and needs a big finish tommorrow.

If McCain and Huckabee finish more than 5 points ahead of Fred I think he is pretty much done.

The Ron Paul cult is very good at getting signs out. He is the only candidate who's signs I’ve seen driving to and work. (I live in San Diego)

Fred makes me tired. Another southerner with a twang.

Mitt Romney is the only one I can picture myself voting for. Maybe Rudy if it came down to it. John McCain disgusts me.

Yes, but since the Dem primary is hotly contested there won’t be many crossovers.

insanity.

The top Republicans act like Democrats and the a top Democrat wants to be a Republican.

Meanwhile Edwards is the most real Democrat and Thompson is the real Republican.

Go figure...

I think Ron’s numbers are low, he’s probably around 9 or 10%. He has dedicated supporters who are proud to put out a lot of signs.

I don’t know if Fred is into signage. It doesn’t seem to be so but with the finish in New Hampshire in 6th and Michigan 5th, finishing 4th is not good enough.

Ron or Fred need to finish in the top 3 in a contested state to realistically start getting momentum.

If it were not for National Security issues, Ron Paul would be a great legit candidate.

Interesting...Rasmussen and KellyAnne Conway on Hannity and Colmes just now. 41 percent of voters may change their vote in South Carolina. Conway said Fred Thompson was the 2nd choice among the majority of these voters.

Rasmussen went along with it...Alan Colmes, of all people, said Thompson would win. He wasn’t being snarky, either.

Very interesting.

Like it or not, the South is where most of the electors will be coming from.

And the trend is growing.
Florida (27) is now more populated than NY, but that is not going to affect the appointment of electors util after the offical census.

Mass has what? 4?

58% of SC voters must have their heads in the sand.

It is the Baptist churches. They are smitten with Huckabee because he calls himself a Baptist preacher.

My dad casually mentioned the other day he was leaning towards Huckabee but now was not sure.

My dad also attends services at the largest Baptist church in Orlando. I'm sure they are getting the Huckabee message out.

Even if he doesn’t win, he needs to have a spot at the convention and deliver a speech about what conservatism is.. and is not.

...pundits and pollsters saying Fred may have a shot at a win, of all things.

I trust my own mindset that Fred has a shot, the pundits and pollsters can take a flying leap IMO. ; )

He is doing better than what is conveyed by the MSM via MSM political bias.
