He said something a little iffy yesterday. Something about letting the economy take care of itself. Only heard FOX version. Not the quote. And it surely could be taken out of context. If he did say something like that, it's not helpful. even if it's essentially true. IT just feeds into the myth about him not really being a doer.

Other than that, I think everything I have heard him say. every thing that I have read, that he has written. Outstanding and right on spot.

"He said something a little iffy yesterday. Something about letting the economy take care of itself."

I take that to mean you would prefer the government "take care" of the economy.

His statement is in line with his stand on smaller government, imo.

Having the government "take care" of the economy is too much like Hillary!'s "take things from you for your own good" (paraphrased?).

It sounds to me (from what you said) like Fred is saying he believes in a free economy. That sounds good to me.

He’s a supply side economist. The government NEEDS TO STAY OUT CORPORATE BUSINESS. The government needs only to do what it was originally setup for...keep me safe.
