The Klan are by no means a right wing group.

Ask Mr Byrd, the democrat Senator from Virginia.

Maybe Paul is thinking like McNut, trying to lure in some democrats.

Has he said anything to deny or denounce any of these things?

He’s got some serious problems he should clearly address.

He’s not going anywhere in the presidential race, but this stuff may cost him his congressional seat.

And people are surprised because....?

There's photos of him meeting the editor (I think) of Storm Front, a neo-nazi site, he has support from seperatists of all ilks, questionable characters, and of course, normal folks who like his constitutional stances.

BTW, speaking of neo-nazi support...where were your slurs against Bush when Don Black, the neo nazi creator of Stormfront marched in support hand in hand with conservative supporters of G.W. Bush in Florida in the 2000 election?

Conservatives, White Supremacists, Take to Florida Streets

And I wonder how many of you were on Rons bandwagon in 1998 when Clinton was preparing to go to War in Iraq? Remember this

United States Must Not Trample Constitution to Attack Iraq February 16, 1998

Do you know what a hypocrite is Jackson?

Kook eruption!

Paul's still the best GOP candidate, which tells you something about the weakness of the field.

I suspect the media is fully aware of the klan connections and are quietly keeping their mouths shut..... for now.

Interesting little story, but I really wish that people who think they need to have their own blog would learn correct spelling and grammar. It's the little things, like the difference between "your" and "you're", or "than" and "then" (etc.) that really get to me.

And yes, I know I'm "picking nits" here, but I get so tired of lousy grammar, poor spelling (for crying out loud, the computer has a spell checker!) and lack of capitalization. Put a smidgen of effort into it.

Although I’m a quasi-libertarian, Paul’s KKK connection doesn’t surprise me as he espouses much the hate group stands for in his rhetoric about welfare, food stamps and the “people on it” (incidentally, there are a lot of KKK types living in trailer parks and collecting food stamps around my part of the country)...David Duke also a big Paul supporter. If Paul were smart, he’d disavow them but, remember, I prefaced a big “if” because I believe the good doctor is “out” when it comes to smarts.

I just love reading all the Ron Paul cultists supporting that guy. They are like the response from the little boy rifling through the manure pile. “With all that crap, there has to be pony in there somewhere.” They just don’t see that the pile is getting deeper and deeper and there ain’t no pony.

Randy Gray, the Midland County, Michigan coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign is also a longstanding active and vocal organizer for the Knight’s Party faction of the Ku Klux Klan.

So now we’re against freedom of association?????

I wonder what Paul will come up with.

"The time he spends coordinating my campaign is time that he doesn't spend terrorizing black people."

or some such.

Week after week the evidence of Ron Paul’s ties to right-wing extremists

I thought Dr. Paul was in bed with left-wing extremists?

Which group will it be next week? Black gang-bangers?
