An Iowa grandmother has been banished to jail, including a night in isolation, after refusing to give in to a judge's demand that she submit to a psychiatric exam and take psychotropic drugs if prescribed to mitigate her opposition to abortion, her husband has confirmed.
"It is not 'my body, my choice?'" Donna Holman told Johnson County District Court, giving new meaning to a common pro-abortion slogan, in her pleadings submitted in support of her request for a reconsideration of her sentence.

The details in the article are unbelievable!!!
Judicial actions like this are what may eventually cause the American people to take up arms.

Now we need Alexander Solzhenitsyn to write about the USA instead of the Soviet Union where he documented how psychiatry was used there.

This story sure has the smell of "something else is going on that we're not being told" to it.
Even in this day, and in this country, I find it very hard to believe that it's simply her opposition to abortion which has her in trouble with the court.

Who is this judge to take away this woman’s right to talk on a sidewalk to another citizen at the time and place of her choosing. and to do it for the rest of her life?
The good people of Iowa, the churches, and the Christ loving lawyers of that state need to rise up and oppose this whole travesty of justice thoroughly and vigorously.
The ACLJ should be contacted for legal help.
This judge has overstepped her bounds, and needs to be brought up on ethical charges.
Mrs. Holman has done nothing illegal, and the testimony against her is incorrect and inadmissible. The judge is obviously in league with others to shut this woman up as well as anyone who opposes the evil of abortion.
Iowa, you must rise up and fight this abomination!!!!

I think it's the liberal (who would have guessed?) judge that needs to see the shrink.
I'm thinking she has some "toys in her attic".

Good grief. I’ve seen some bad stuff done to pro-life sidewalk counselors, but this is beyond belief.
The hostile witnesses didn’t even show up in court, yet the judge condemned her anyway on the basis of hearsay testimony.
The pro-life legal organizations are very busy, but this case certainly needs to be appealed. God bless this woman, comfort her, and reward her for her courage and goodness.

At this point, I think the only route back to America goes through the Second Amendment.
