I sometimes carry the HS2000 prototype, an Intrac model made in Croatia and snapped up by Springfield as the XD. I love it and find it ideal to carry with the police-type hard holster with the safety snap. I find the combo and extra safety features intuitive, the whole thing making it easier for the carrier to use, difficult for someone to snatch away.

Just find it is a bit bulky, too bulky for wife who prefers Kimber 45 CDP.
