Did you vote yet? I voted yesterday and they told me 30% of the voters had voted. We are having a major cat fight over the Prop Tax. Rudy was the only guy to hit SW FL before the election. He was all over the place to big crowds. Seems like if Fred wanted FL he could make a trip down her BEFORE we started voting.

I’m becoming less enamored with Rasmussen over time. If Romney is running that strong a third, why did he pull out? If Huckabee weren’t worried about losing to Fred, why would he run such a large, nasty push-poll about him and not McCain? Real life doesn’t match with the numbers they are spouting. Too many of the polls this year have tried to engender a result and then switch at the last moment to a more accurate result. In South Carolina, their desired result may come about because many are worried (wrongly) that Fred has no chance.

It looks like the candidates are picking the states they want a good showing in. McLame picked New Hampshire, Rudy picked Florida, Mitt picked Michigan, FRED picked South Carolina.

RWI, as I mentioned to others the FL Primary started on Monday. I suspect by the weekend it will all be over except the counting which is January 29.

There is one tax issue on our ballot that all it does is allow the money to be shifted from dept to dept. I think its education.
My wife is one of the election supv. for our precinct. Yeah I already voted.I am gone so much I stay on permanent absentee.

I agree. But if you look at Rudy he had the sense to pick big states and time the campaign to when we actually vote (at least in FL).

Until you get to Florida this is the pre-season.

There is also the statewide amendment. It reduces property taxes for residents. The local RINOs are freaking.

Yes, I wondered about Fred to....I think I mentioned it last week....where in the world was Fred??? I voted for him yesterday too. How did you vote on the property tax issue?

Thanks BG. It snows about once or twice a year up here. We get ice a bit more often.

The snow is beautiful and is never an issue. The roads are kept very clean and life is almost normal for most people.

I just fire up the gas logs, drink something warm and “tough it out”.

Anything the RINOs that run my local government and snowbirds are opposed to I’m in favor of. So I was a big thumbs up.

I hope Rush would dedicate most of his show tomorrow in putting in a good word for Fred before the SC primary.

Well Let me be honest. I would still support good Conservative Republicans, like the Congresscritter from the district I live in and my local Republicans. A McCain canidacy would make me open to supporting a 3rd party canidate who was solidly Conservative.

And McCain as President could win me back if he governed way to the right of where he has been in the Senate. McCain has talked real good on spending. The only problem he has never DONE anything. If he actually did some things to reign in Fed Spending, he could win my vote back.
