Zogby’s current data is pre Michigan Primary according to his latest posting on his website. It is from Sun-Monday polling. Way out of date. At that point Fred was 3rd. Michigan maybe diminished McCain’s luster to some but Zogby poll doesn’t reflect that. Rasmussen’s poll does.
However, it is going to be interesting to see how this shakes out. Rass say Huckabee is winning by 4. Zog say it McCain by 7. Both cannot be right.

If it's Huckabee vs. Obama, it's the Republican candidate that will be running against Reaganism, and the Democrat carrying the Reagan coalition!
We cannot allow this to happen.
Huckabee will spell the end of the Republican party!
Rush needs to ENDORSE Fred Thompson before Saturday!!

Today’s rasmussen for SC: Huck & McCain tied at 24%, Mitt at 18%, Fred at 16%. Mitt’s voters much less committed and more likely to change their minds—like their candidate?

I live in one of the most conservative parts of the state and we started voting on Monday. I have not see one Fred ad, I saw a grand total of one Fred bumper sticker, he has not made a single visit, no Fred-head is knocking on doors, no direct mail...
In fact the only guy paying attention was Rudy and he seems to be the only person besides me, and the rest of the voters, that knew Monday was primary day NOT January 29th. By Tuesday 30% of the voters had voted. Rudy was all over the place. He will get a lot of the senior vote and a lot of the vote is senior. Where the heck is Fred. I’ll put him in my truck and drive him around.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of South Carolinas Republican Presidential Primary shows that John McCain and Mike Huckabee are tied at 24%. In a race that has already seen four different candidates with the lead, much could still change in the coming days—7% of voters have yet to make up their mind, 10% say theres a good chance they could change their mind, and another 24% might change their mind.
Mitt Romney attracts 18% support and Fred Thompson 16%. Those figures are little changed from the previous survey

Yes, but I hate how people jump in line with whatever polls the media put out and don’t vote their hearts or their heads!

Just did send a note to Rush! If, as Rush as said, there is no “pure” conservative out there in the race, then we need to get down to whom is the “most” pure. Certainly that would be Fred Thompson!

Anybody hear Larry King saying Huckabee’s name? He kept saying Huckelbee instead of Huckabee.... lol :-)
To: Fox_Mulder77
As much as I dislike Huckabee, I’d rather see him win it than McCain, because that would slow the latter down until Huck eventually implodes.

The Clintons always blow their tops, in “outrage” when anyone dares ask them a question of which they are GUILTY.
