I don’t suppose there will be any black helicopters hovering overhead....at least not ones used to maintain security.

Having just survived 2 weddings for both my daughters within one month, a “small wedding” is a very relative term. Hollywood productions is more accurate.

Jenna is a beautiful young lady.
OTOH, Chelsea would take full advantage of having a WH wedding and invite the kings and queens of the world so she can receive tons and tons of gifts.

Oh, man. My selfish desire to poke democrats with a stick just to make 'em squirm wanted Jenna to have the most beautiful White House wedding since Trish Nixon. She is beautiful, will make a beautiful bride, and will remind us all of the former presidential daughter who mercifully, did not walk the walk Wedding March. AKA: The Three Veiled Bride.
This is not the time for low key. This is the time to bring sunshine, beauty, hope, love, and celebration back into our otherwise day-to-day horrible news cycle, campaigns, hillary/obama mo-pokes at each other. CLASS, people, we need some CLASS.

Jenna and her fiance, Henry Hager, will marry on May 10 I heard this morning along with a comment that it might not be valid since the President will be out of the country at that time. Did anyone else hear this?

Why aren’t they having the wedding at the White House? That would be so gorgeous.

Best wishes to the happy couple. Smart decision on Jenna’s part to avoid a Whitehouse wedding.
You know every kook under the sun would hold a protest.

I remember at the beginning of the President’s first term, he showed a gaggle of reporters a beautiful place on his ranch that he called his “cathedral”. And he said he was going to clean it up and his greatest wish was to see one or both his daughters married there. May is a beautiful time in Texas. Pray for sunshine and no tornadoes.

I’d like to see the wedding on nominating night of the Democratic convention.
