Last Saturday's waterboarding display organized by Karen Porter, Esq, founder and Executive Director of the Chester County Peace Movement, was a calculated move to smear our military. The troops are our sons and daughters. They are NOT war criminals. Shame on Karen Porter and her Chester County "Peace" Movement. Waterboarding does not occur at Gitmo. Orange jumpsuits are worn only by prisoners that are a threat to the military guards. For prisoners who have attacked, even attempted to kill the military guards. Non-dangerous prisoners wear tan or white uniforms. Thats most of the detainees. By combining waterboarding, orange jumpsuits and a call for closing the military run Gitmo facility, Porter constructed a message so that the public goes away believing our troops commit war crimes. On local station WPHTs Dom Giordano talk radio show, two veterans respectfully explained that and asked that Karen not do it. She refused, offered the lame excuse that even if the military denies it, she dont know that they are not waterboarding at Gitmo. Shame on Karen Porter for believing the worst about the troops in the absence of any such evidence. Last week's turn out in support of the troops has rattled Karen Porter, who while espousing that the answer to terrorism is to understand and work patiently with terrorists to address their root causes, has cut off all communications with the other side and has declared war on the patriots by complaining to the ACLU! The patriots of the Chester County Victory Movement will be there starting at 10:45 AM. Plenty of parking, food, drink and other necessities available in the immediate area. Anyone needing directions, just ping me. Intersection of Market and High, West Chester, PA Our troops fight to protect us, spend an hour to protect them. The surge is working, God Bless America.
Karen Porter = useful idiot!!!
Sometimes the best medicine is to play their street theatre
games, need actors to demostrate who they are seeking to protect, probably three at most, one laying headless on the ground, one holding a severed head, one reading their hate speech., with a sandwich sign thanking those nuts for their support.
Get ‘em, Doc!
bump
There's a tremendous tribute to the intolerance of the Chester County Peace Movement, a sign that reads, "Shame on Christian Fascists." And it's used next another smarmy sign mocking Christians that reads "Who Would Jesus Waterboard?"
I have yet to find anyone who believes in Jesus carrying a sign like that. Just like I can never find someone who actually knows the words to the Pledge of Alliegence carring a "Peace Is Patriotic" sign.
Considering that Karen Porter would run to the leader of the counter protest complaining like a school marm about "name calling" I am shocked, just shocked, that I didn't see Karen Porter complain to the sign holder or complain to police about it though she passed that clear example of hate speech numerous times.
liberals have a serious mental illness.
TRIBUNE7, local ping please...
Everyone else, please distribute to your local email lists.
HonestConservative, thanks for last week’s support. One of these Saturdays at your leisure, I’ll treat you to lunch. Normally we go to lunch afterwards, but last Saturday we had a “Welcome Home” for a local soldier and had to press on to the next event.
No, biggy.
I enjoyed the day thoroughly.
There will be a box at the rally where you can drop off a commercially packaged snack item. We don't need much as I expect that everyone will drop off one item. A Entemann's individual slice of cake, danish or coffee cake, a individual TastyKake, a theater sized box of candy is what I have in mind. If everyone participates, we'll easily fill the box and have enough to supply a whole platoon with a bit of respect and affection.
She'd prolly love her work.
I send the photos and the reports to Iraq via email and get pestered for news of what else has been done lately.
At Walter Reed, which you also supported, it's not unusual for unit Commanders and the First Sergeant checking in on their people while on mid tour leave (they come and go via BWI airport) to stop and thank the patriots at the main gate for their display of support.
We found out long ago that word of these efforts is reaching the troops in theater and they appreciate it.
Waterboard the peaceniks!!!!
Soap is not against the Geneva convention...
ping
Funny how the peaceniks never raise a fuss over the terrorists actions...only our armed forces.
Seems the peaceniks and terrorists sing Kumbaya walking hand in hand
They are so 60's, reliving the glory days. When they sing the old John Lennon songs we sing "Kumbaya Osama".
Old hippies have no sense of humor.
Raoul, gotta an Honor Roll for last Saturday’s freep? We all’d like to thank them. I’ll start by thanking you both.
Maybe the West Chester contigent can have a torture demo of your own. Use a feather on a peacenik (or NYTimes reporter) and get them to spill US government secrets.
