Great! My wife and I are big supporters of our local Care Net Pregnancy Center since its inception about 15 years ago. They just started offering free ultrasounds about 2 years ago with dramatic results!

Not sure I like the idea. With money comes control. I'm now on the Board of Trustees of our local RTL. Back when I was President, I'd worry each month whether we had enough money coming in to pay the rent, keep the lights on, and pay the salary of our one employee. Things are a little better now, but I'd be very wary of money from the State. Two administrations ago the Democrat AG tried to close down Crisis Pregnancy Centers in the state on the grounds that they were falsely claiming to provide abortions, then tricking women into keeping the babies. That would be easier to do if the Centers became dependent on State money.

How about forgetting the funding for these and a host of other programs and simply banning abortion? Nah, that’s too much to ask. /s
And what will happen when the ACLU sues to prevent the church-run centers from receiving funds?
