Of course he did, but Matthew 4:6 is a lot less entertaining and less poignant for someone of Italian descent.
For those that care, Matthew 4:6 as seen in the KJV:
4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Personally, I don’t like to see Republicans campaigning in churches—any church! Let’s leave that for the Democrats.
