Someone must have stolen the strawberries on McCain’s plane.

A Mitt win tonight puts him in good shape.

Onward and upward.

Like him or not, Mitt Romney is the only Republican in the race who has a decent chance to win in November. I’m glad to see he is starting to do well.

First exits via Drudge:

Romney 34, McCain 28, Huckabee 16

I’m for Fred, but I think I’m rootin for Mitt tonight. For one, this takes the wind out of McCain’s surge. Second, I like Mitt more than McCain.

I voted for Fred, but I could easily get Whole-hog behind Mitt.

I’m for Fred, but I could vote for Mitt if I had to.

Huckabee = no vote, and McCain = vote democrat for me. I don’t think Rudy is going anywhere.

Fred with enthusiasm, Mitt with some embarrassment.

Fox News is reporting that McCain and Huckster have departed Michigan for SC.

The two Hucksters won’t even hang around for a concession speech.

McCain must be Pi$$ed

One other note: It is bad form for both Huck and McCain to flee Michigan rather than stay and concede as Romney was obliged to do in Iowa and New Hampshire.

huck and mack are running away like surrendercrats.

That’s the blog fantasy these days, but I don’t think Fred would be a VP for anyone.

McCain has left Michigan and is in SC. It’s Fred turn now.

After Fred, Romney is my second choice. Other than Fred, Romney's the only other one for whom I would be willing to vote in the general election—even if not enthusiastically.

What McCain did not even hang around for the results and a concession speech.

McCain is on the ropes and he knows it.
