This is true.
Unfortunately the "winner" of the exit poll doesn't get any delegates.
What is your reasoning for that conclusion?
“Anyone want to start a betting pool on how off the exit polls are this time?”
Yeah... I’ll step out and make a prediction.
Exit Polls will be very acccurate.
Why? Hillary does not have an opponent and her back isn’t against the wall like NH. i.e Stuffed Ballots will be a min concern here. The Klintons pulled out all the tricks in NH.
“Romney would be the easiest for Hillary to beat.!”
Do you really think so?
If you’re right then I blew it. I just voted for Romney because I thought he had the best shot at beating Hillary.
Ummm... I wish they could peel Hugh off the ceiling he’s so high... I like the Idea of putting a forque in Johnny Mac, ESPECIALLY after the asinine Water stealing remark yesterday. It’s good that it SEEMS its going the way it is, BUT the polls ain’t closed YET!
You mean Huckamondale and McCagovern?
Mccain wins, mit close second. Since there’s only one name on the ballot, nobody cares what happens in the democrat primary. Not even the democrats. In fact, since michigan runs an OPEN primary, I predict more democrats vote in the republican primary than in the democrat primary. That’s why I predict mccain to win.
In the many head-to-head polls done to date in a fairly large number of states, Romney has the worst numbers.
In fact it is fair to say his numbers are terrible. Were the election held today, he would even lose a deep red state like Kansas.
Yes you blew it. Romney is a disaster in the head to head polls.
You may be right, and I would hate for Huckabee to be the nominee, but you simply can't be sure about these things. Remember, the Dems begged the GOP to nominate Reagan in 1980 because he would be the "easiest to beat."
Unfortunately for your thesis, early exit polls say Romney 35 McCain 29 Huckabee 15 Paul 10...(AP) / Hugh Hewitt just announced it. Of course Hugh is absolutely euphoric. LOL
at this point in the campaign, the majority of people only name those whose name they recognize. This is why McCain and Giuliani rise so quickly early on.
Once Giuliani did so poorly early on, he’s off the radar....NH put a familiar name, McCain, up on the radar.
If Mitt wins MI, as he evidently has, will his numbers go up nationally? If Fred wins SC, does his?
I think in the early stages, like now, it does...
Exit polls???
Since when do those amount to a hill of beans?
Who do we want to win this one? Does a Romney win or a McCain win benefit Fred most in New Hampshire?
Sweet! Knock that backstabber out and then we'll have a better field overall. Less likely Huckleberry will go anywhere, for example.
MITT ROMNEY, JOHN MCCAIN
And The First Exit Polls in Michigan Say...
I'm surprised no one else has put this up yet. I'm hearing the first round of exit polls have Romney 35, McCain 29, Huckabee 15, Ron Paul 10, Giuliani 4. This doesn't count absentee ballots. [Romney was thought to have advantage in absentee]
If this holds, the networks will be able to announce shortly after 9 p.m. eastern time...
Of course, all the standard disclaimers apply, and the later voters may differ from the early rounds, and the polls are still open, so if you're a Michigander, go out and vote for your favorite.
Amen!
I did my part - I voted for FRed.
I couldn't bring myself to vote Mitt in the primary; but, I could vote for him in the general.
Not mclame under any circumstances I could forsee.
I’d route for a tie. LOL
A close win by either one makes both look bad.
They’re both horrible for conservatives.
This smells fishy to me. I wonder if they meant "plus or minus 5 percentage points in each precinct." I suppose we'll find out soon enough ;)
