Mike Huckabee is anti-abortion, opposes gay marriage and doesn't believe in evolution. Does that make him a conservative Republican presidential candidate? Yes, said state Rep. David Rivera, a Republican who represents part of south Broward. "Conservative voters are seeing Mike Huckabee as the preeminent choice." Yet other presidential contenders question whether the former Arkansas governor is sufficiently conservative. On Sunday, Mitt Romney's Florida communications director, Kristy Campbell, e-mailed out a "research briefing" with the subject line, "Huckabee hearts higher taxes." "As Floridians learn more about his record, they are increasingly troubled by aspects related to the economy, illegal immigration, crime and more," the e-mail said. Frank Falzarano, who's organizing some Huckabee supporters in Palm Beach County, said his candidate isn't easy to categorize.

Mr Huckabee has ethical problems (he accepted a ton of gifts when he was governor of Arkansas), eccentric policies (scrap income taxes, make America self-sufficient in food) and a feeble grasp of world affairs. “However it doesn’t mean we need to turn our backs on people who need the help of the government,” he said. “It’s a Christian viewpoint.”
Huckabee “Hearts” populist nanny state liberal policies.

Jimmy Carter with an “R” next to his name.
Jan. 15, 1998 It was less than ethical for a former state Ethics Commission member to be looking for a job with Gov. Mike Huckabees administration while she and other commissioners deliberated a complaint against Huckabee, the commission chairman said Wednesday. Candi Russell of Fort Smith, a former political consultant, left the commission Jan. 7 and went to work Monday as a six-month employee of the Department of Human Services. Chairman Troy Burris of Russellville did not raise the ethics point, but when asked if her departure took place in a manner less than ethical, he said, I sure would say it was, adding, She shouldnt have accepted a job like that.
He is sneakily nasty, using
-a sneaky "question" about Mormons
- the sneaky presentation of an ad he is not going to air
-a sneaky (ageist?) comment about Sen. Thompson's use of Metamucil.
Hillary and Obama are students of Saul Alinsky.
Huckabee is a student of Machiavelli. He knifes people in the back (verbally) while protecting himself through self-canonization.
His memoirs should be entitled Shiv-Shank Redemption.
The cover could have a picture of 2 crossed, improvised weapons.

I can’t recall what part of the Bible says that the government is supposed to be the one providing charity...
