Barack Obama has a racial problem, but it's not what the media thinks -- it's not rednecks, older voters, or even women offended by attacks on Hillary Clinton. Obama's racial problem is white liberals.

A central tenet of modern liberalism, after all, is the unshakeable conviction that white American is deeply and irredeemably racist. For three decades, America's white liberals have invested in the belief that American is so incapable of racial fairness that society needs a panoply of laws, preferences, quotas, set-asides, and remedial programs to ensure that black people are treated fairly.
All of those policies are fundamentally based on the belief that America is deeply racist, that their fellow Americans are personally biased and institutionally prejudiced -- consciously and unconsciously, intentionally and structurally; racist in history and practice.
It follows that many race-holding liberals will be among the last to believe that America will ever elect an African-American as president.
White liberals face this cognitive dissonance: if they decide that America is ready for a black president and back Obama they would also be forced to surrender or at least modify decades of convictions about American bias.
The euphemism for this is "electability," and it is one of the reasons why the race and gender cards are being played so aggressively among post-New Hampshire Democrats.

I've never seen a candidate whose positions are NEVER mentioned in stories on his campaign. Unless you consider "hope" and "rock-star presence" political issues.
Regardless of what the Liberals say, or the revisionist history professors, Democrats once ruled the South. Democrats are and always were the party of the KKK. (FYI, Democrats are the party that fought FOR slavery and are the party that fought AGAINST civil rights for blacks.)
How is the Democrat grand dragon wizard (or whatever the hell) going to react to having to vote for a black muslim whose name he cannot even pronounce. hehehe
The author makes an excellent point. The liberals have trapped themselves in their own web of hypocrisy, snobbery, and intellectual masturbation.
It's because a ton white libs won't vote for him. Oh, they'll say they are voting/voted for Obama, but they will either pull the 'R' lever or just sit that vote out. The black vote won't gain Obama diddly-squat because the dims get it all anyway.
It's deliscious watching the race monster ravaging those who created it and constantly feed it. Pass the popcorn, please.

The only drawback was that it took nearly 50 years for the white sheep’s clothing to finally come off these dark hearted wolves.
Some like me and most FReepers have suspected for some time that the White Liberals who make up a majority of the Democrat party, when put to the litmus test as to whether or not they were racists, would fail grandly.
The first black president Bill Clinton and his scheming wife Hillary are certainly shucking and jiving trying to maintain the black vote but all the while underneath the facade are really selling themselves to the hypocritical white air head majority in the party.
How simply amazing it is to finally see the Democrat majority for what it really is, a bunch of supercilious two faced duplicitous bigots.
What is more amazingly mind blowing is that the Plantation members of the party are still as a majority registered to the Master race party?
Democrat politicians for years have thrown these Plantation members a bone in the form of entitlement handouts, thereby keeping them mollified with heavy handed molasses rhetoric along with little or no action to improve their daily lives.
So comes now a Plantation brother from Chicago who has the audacity to throw his forty acres, mule and overhauls into the fray for the political worlds highest office.
How I would love to have been a fly on the wall listening into the conversations among high Democrat party officials, especially The Clinton Machines Brown Shirt Thugs.
Officials appalled that some lowly Plantation member would actually challenge the Democrat establishment.
I don’t know for sure but I would bet my wooden nickel that Mrs. Hillary and Masers Willy Jeff probably used more than a few insensitive words beginning with F and ending with K and they were not referring to Firetruck.
Barracks Hussein Obama is a fixing to show by the Democrat parties own arrogant racist actions that the proverbial race card shoe never did fit the real conservative (Not RINO) Republican Party.

This will end up being all based on racism no matter how anyone plays it, be it Pub or Dem. The Dems are being threatened now by the race Frankenstein they themselves have created, and the repercussions it will have within their own party. The Pubs have a different problem, how to go up against Obama, if he ends up being the Dem candidate, without being painted at every turn for being racist if they attack him in any way, even if fairly (Hillary is finding that out this very minute; anything she says will and is being portrayed with racial overtones). Also, in the general election, if Obama loses the Presidency to our Republican candidate, it will be portrayed by the MSM as being all because of racial bias, regardless of the fact that Obama is a most liberal of socialists. It will all be about race no matter what happens.
Great take on all that’s going on in this campaign.
It just could be that Hillary in all her crying hysteria might just damage both their chances of ever becoming president.

Now that is not really true and you know it.
Hillary had not caught any flack about what she said UNTIL she disrespected both John F. Kennedy and Martin L. King.
The Dems have idol worshiped these two people for a very long time.
So she deserves all of the flack she is catching for those statements.
They also alluded a lot to 'assasinations' during that week. It started with Bill's comment about a 'bullet to the brain'.

You need to reread your tagline and apply it to yourself. I’m sick and tired of people bashing Southerners because we were once Democratic. We were Democrat because of the abuses of “Reconstruction” and the Radical Republicans that dreamed it up and implemented it left a very bitter taste in Southerner’s mouths that lasted for generations.
If it wasn’t for the fact that Southerners moved enmasse over to the GOP, the Party would be confined to the Plains States and the Mountain West.
Face it Numbnuts. Without the South, the Republican Party is Dead as a door nail.
The problem, however, is that the Dems have stoked (dare we say demanded?!) black sensitivity for decades. See Trent Lott. Hillary and the Dem establishment are being hoist upon a big ole petard they themselves built.
