In your opinion, does the first amendment protect the Phelps family when they go protest military funerals?
Please don’t feel like I’m putting you on the spot, I’m just curious what the difference is and how you and other folks view it.
I’ve already addressed that there are times when, in interest of public safety, as an example, one should not yell “fire” in a crowded theater. I also believe that it is beyond the pale to scream/yell/interrupt a private funeral gathering.
However, if people cannot gather and express themselves at POLITICAL RALLIES, especially concerning national political figures who intend to become president, for what purpose would the Founding Fathers have inserted such an Amendment in the Bill of Rights?

Yes actually it does...Theres already been a decision on their case in court..They cannot go onto private property but they can scream as loud as they want to...and say whatever they want ...
You and I may not like it...but they have that right...
