If Duncan could get some traction and actually get in the running I would vote for him in a second.

That having been said, until he does get traction, my money is on Fred as a reasonable facsimile of Duncan.

I beg to differ, it's called voting your principles and if your life-long party the GOP decides to walk away from it's principles, sometimes it becomes necessary. Every here of the WHIG party? The party is here to represent us, not the other way around. Either the party wakes up and listens to it's base, or it loses. Otherwise, you are telling them they can do whatever they please just so long as they are just a little bit to the right of the Democrats. That my friend is a formula for Disaster for the GOP!

Huh?

That didn’t work in 2000.

I’m done voting for ANY Republican. If the GOP loses then maybe they will put up better candidates next time and return to conservative values. If not, screw ‘em.

Which Republican candidate running would make you stay at Home on election day?

Which Republican candidate would make you cross over and vote for a third party?

Which Republican candidate would make you cross over and vote for Hilary or Obama?

None of them. I'm not going to stay home and piss away my vote. Nor am I going to vote third party. I voted for Perot in '92 and you can see what that got us.

I apologize to everybody for my part in that debacle.

To all
Ever since I first started voting I realized that it would > be a rare situation where I would be enthusiastically voting FOR a candidate. I often would be voting against a candidate by voting for marginal candidate!
(Imperfect world there will always be imperfect choices!) Therefore I will not stay home and pout that I didn’t get my way.
If necessary I will vote to deny the White House to the democrats. I won't like it but thats what I will do

I will not vote third party in 2008, nor vote for any Democrat. Period.

Guiliani or McCain would cause me to hesitate to vote, because, to me, there is no distinction between them and any Demon nominee. Rudy and McCain will sell out conservative priciples once they ascend to Presidential power, and they will not appoint conservative judges.

I would vote for Thompson without hesitation, and I will hold my nose for Romney. For Huckabee, I would retch violently first, then vote for him.

I hope I don’t have to vote for Huckabee, but he is pro-life and she isn’t; and, he is more likely to respect the troops and what needs to be done in the WoT than either Hillary or Obama is.

I could vote for Thompson, Hunter or Romney.

I will NOT vote for McCain nor Huckabee. I would feel embarrassed and dirty if I did. Gotta live with myself.

I'm gonna vote.

But I won't pull the lever for a RINO.

Heck, I’d vote for Ron Paul before I’d stay home if Hillary is running.

No but there is a strong resemblance to Gomer Pyle. Sure wish I knew how to do a separated-at-birth picture on FR because the likeness is chilling.

NOW is the time for those who don't want a certain candidate to speak out, not after it's a done deal.

I won't vote for Huckabee, but I believe he will flame out before the nomination.

And I won't vote for anyone who chooses him as his running mate.
