I think it’s true that Hillary’s support is ten miles long but only a half inch deep. However, they have been getting away with fraud, murder, corruption,selling out the country, and everything a normal crime family does for so many year I can’t count them all! When does it end? When is their plug pulled?

There is no doubt that many political types will try and take credit for the surge.

There is also no doubt that the surge is, was and always will be the result of General David Petraeus and no one else.

He had the guts to call for it, support it and implement it when all the others, pubbies and dems, said it would not work.He took the chance he gets the credit.

He is the true American soldier/hero and no one else regardless of what anyone claims.

Actually, my point was that General Petraeus devised the plan for WHAT TO DO WITH THOSE TROOPS. Different people demanded more troops at different times...even the Dems went there a few times.

But it was Petraeus who put together the strategy to take, hold, build local alliances. He spent his entire career studying counter-insurgencies and he finally got his chance. We can all be grateful he was there when we needed him.

Well, if you trust Romney is telling the truth now, and was lying all those earlier elections, he and Thompson are very close, that's a big if.
