FACE THE NATION (CBS): Former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass., and former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Romney, Huckabee, former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., and former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn.; Abdul-Qader al-Obeidi, Iraqi defense minister.
With the party split between many factions, I'm willing to bet that the VP will be picked from the current Presidential candidates. A balanced top of the ticket will be a prerequisite for any victory in November. When you look at the folks, there are some very interesting couplings available.

I only bet on sure things.
If so that would be understandable there is no point talking them in the same way you might address a crowd in New York.
I would expect our politicians in Britain to do similar showing they understand where they are and appreciate local differences.

Hillary keeps repeating the line that the purpose of the surge was to bring reconciliation to the Iraqi government.
I think it’s way past time for White House to speak out and say the purpose of the surge was to defeat the insurgency and that the Senator is misinfomring the public.

I tunred into MTP for a moment, and here is what I heard from her heainous:
There is NO doubt that the Iraqi Government is listening to every word I say. The reason things are turning around is they know that I will withdraw troops, and that has caused them to get off the dime and move forward.
Of course, Timmy does not confront this statement and once again, she is repeating exactly what Obama said.
The media will jump on it and give the democrats the benefit for victory in Iraq. Its unreal.

MSM do not like Mitt Romney. They want to wish him away, hence the fixation on getting him to retire from the race.
This morning Juan Williams said he was a “businessman” with a neurotically rising inflection like he was “felon” or an “idiot”. Unfortunately, for many Americans, “businessmen” have been demonized since the day that the soap opera became a staple on tv. They are enemies of the “people.” etc etc
When Hillary does it, we call it pandering. Same deal with Rudy.
