As I recall, Hitler was obsessed with rewriting his past, embarrassed of the truths of his upbringing. History repeats...

Olympic athlete. Astronaut. Doctor. Scientist.

All useful endeavours, things that actually might have beneficially contributed to the world. Endeavours Hillary never had any interest in pursuing whatsoever.

Why are people just now discovering that Hillary is a flim-flam artist? Seriously, she hasn’t changed in the 15+ years she’s been on the national scene, but now it’s now hip to point out her lack of substance when ten years ago she was the world’s smartest woman and she was a shoe-in to be the first woman president, etc. Conservatives were mean and sexist for bringing up the point of her phoniness.

At some level, I have to feel a bit sorry for her - she’s had so much smoke blown up her pantsuit for so long by the media and her “base”, that it has to be surprising to her that she’s no longer flavor of the month.

I'm surprised Hillary and the media haven't made a stronger connection to Sir Edmund Hillary, milking the announcement of the great man's death for all it's worth.

Ms. Clinton was named after him, you know. (Even though she was born several years before he became famous for climbing Mt. Everest.)

I got an e-mail today from a conservative friend in Syracuse by Dick Morris. He was showing us how Bill Clinton lied about Hillary (surprise) and her experience. All the things he said were apprised by Dick Morris and, of course, turned out to be, ahem, LIES.

“She took $1,000 and with the help of her friends, who Bill was helping to safeguard against inspections for the poultry industry, parlayed it in a matter of weeks on the futures market and then wouldn’t release her tax returns, so nobody knew about it until after the statute of limitations was lifted.

She told a federal grand jury that she didn’t work on a certain project in the Whitewater scandal, when she did, and she claimed she didn’t know it by that name but another name. ...

Her brother was paid $300,000 by a drug and crack cocaine dealer, who was serving a 20 year sentence in prison and her husband pardoned him, and she claimed she had no idea her brother was representing the guy.

She arranged a party for the head of the Orthodox Jewish community in one area, and that district voted for her by 1,400 to three, whereas previously it had been Republican and the leaders of the community walked out of jail shortly after the election.

She was fined $35,000 by the Federal Elections Commission for one of the largest campaign violations on record, claiming that she didn’t know that a fundraiser cost $1.2 million instead of $300,000, that enabled her to spend that extra money on her Senate campaign.”

Maybe if Hillary had majored in a real science instead of “political science” at Wellesley, she could have been a scientist or astronaut. Her choice. Not only does she whine, she lies at the same time!

This is simply the Clinton MO. They have long mastered the political truism that if you tell a lie often enough, and convincingly enough, it will eventually be accepted as truth by the majority of the unwashed herd.

Depressingly, since the unwashed herd are more numerous than those who think, it works. And, even among those who DO think and know she is lying, her untruths are irrelevant because they see in her the best way to achieve their political aims.

This is why Bubba could way his finger and lie his butt off about his multiple Lewinsky knobbers and still retain the goodwill of the feminazi elite.

I really really don’t like Hillary Clinton. Nevertheless from what I’ve read tonight it would seem that some of the quotes from Kuiper’s book are taken out of context or just unfounded gossip. I take great offence of people taking President Bush’s statements out of context or using unverified sources to smear him and so to be fair I have to question some of this stuff unless someone could come up with verifiable information.

And they wrote back very politely and said, ‘We don’t take girls.’”

So she gave up? So she didn't try to join the Air Force and learn to fly high performance jets as some of the astronauts did? What kind of role model is she for girls?

Wait a minute, folks... She DID become a world-class commodities trader the first time she embarked on trading. Just by reading the Wall Street Journal. Too bad she didn’t embrace the editorial section way back when.

Hillary should have known that her poor eyesight would have disqualified for astronaut status.
