ABC News' Lisa Stark and Sunlen Miller report: The plane carrying Sen. Barack Obama struck another plane while taxiing at Midway Airport in Chicago early Saturday morning.
At 2:45 a.m. Central Time, the Gulfstream 2 plane that carried Obama, nine other passengers and two crew members struck a parked Cessna 208 general aviation plane, which can carry 10 to 12 passengers.
There was minor damage to the wings of both aircraft, although no one on either of the planes was injured.
Inside Obama's plane, the hit was so small that no one realized they had clipped the other plane's wing until someone on the plane, looking out the window, noticed the swipe.
The plane, because it was taxiing and heading to park, was not under the control of air traffic controllers at that point.
Members of Obama's campaign staff, Secret Service members and two crew members were flying along with the senator.
Before leaving his Las Vegas event that evening, Obama commented that he only had one hour to speak to the crowd, so his pilot wouldn't get "cut off" and so he wouldn't get in trouble with his wife. Obama will be in Chicago today, enjoying a prescheduled day off with his family.

Wow I wonder when some serious journalist will ask him what his take is on the current conditions in Iraq. I mean they have political reconcilition going on in that country today. The surge has defeated AQI and the insurgency. Iraq is close to being that Free democracy capable of sustaining itself and serving as an allie in the terrorist war against America so .. when will he get asked... Mr. Obama is it time to CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE course in Iraq or did the Presidents goals succeed and will you as President be able to handle a political hot potatoe like George W. Bush has? In other words when you stand on your convictions and the poltical winds blow against you can we count on you to do the Right thing? or will you fold like you just did to your wife's bidding?

I’m sure that the more important issue to the MSM is whether it was the right wing or the left wing that took the hit. :^D

Is anyone else here disturbed by this minor accident of Obama's plane? The Clintons have known loads of people who lost their lives in plane crashes. Do you think this might be a warning shot across the bow of the Obama campaign?
And yeah, I'm waiting for definitive answers from both the Dem frontrunners on all the pressing issues of the day. Sadly those two won’t actually have to put forth any concrete plans for dealing with the major problems facing the USA. They’re Dems. They won’t be asked a tough question and they wouldn’t have to answer a tough question even if they were asked one.

Let's see. He lands at the wrong airport one day, and he hits another plane this day.
What is the name of his pilot...Ray Charles?

There was minor damage to the wings of both aircraft,...
Of course, it all depends on what your definition of "minor" "is".

The plane, because it was taxiing and heading to park, was not under the control of air traffic controllers at that point. While not under ATC control, it would be under Midway Ground Control. Infractions under ground ctl are just as serious.
A C208 incident is one of particular interest to a C210 driver!

Wasn’t there also something about Hillary blocking him from getting on his plane?
To: tomnbeverly
No freakin’ way I’ll believe the Obama claptrap about CHANGE when his pilot can’t execute the simplest change of course while on the ground to avoid a collision.
