Conservative is not voluntarily forcing clerks to issue wedding licenses to same-sex couples.

Experts: Credit Romney for homosexual marriage 'What he did was exercise illegal legislative authority'

"What Romney did [was] he exercised illegal legislative authority," Herb Titus said of the governor's actions after the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court released its opinion in the Goodridge case in 2003. "He was bound by what? There was no order. There wasn't even any order to the Department of Public Health to do anything."

That's not a conservative position.

Implementing RomneyCare is also not a conservative position, it's socialistic health care.

Romney has by far and away appointed liberals to the bench. That is also not a conservative position.

Governor Romney appointed 36 judges but a check of their political affiliation confirms that only 9 of them are Republicans. Two are radical gay activists and 14 are registered Democrats. The remainder are unenrolled. Since Massachusetts Democrats are among the most pro-abortion Democrats in America, we have to assume that the majority of Romney's judicial appointments are NOT pro-life.

The article, above-cited, lists additional concerns that conservatives have with Romney and who he claims to be.

I think Ann Coulter is for Duncan Hunter. I can understand that as I also like Hunter. It is just that he does not have a chance this time so I hope he is in the Thompson administration.

I love Fred.

I can live with Mitt or Rudy.

McCain and Huckabee are vermin. If either is the nominee I will forgo my suffrage for the first time in my life. I will not vote for a socialist, regardless of the letter next to their name on a ballot.

“I think Ann Coulter is for Duncan Hunter.”

You’re right, but Hunter has as much of a chance as I do to win the presidency.

When Huck or Mitt is fighting it out at the convention, wouldn’t it have been nice it Coulter and all the other idealists had thrown their support behind the guy who at is currently winning delegates? I like Hunter too, but practicism over blind idealism.

Conservatives don’t seem to realize how important “likability” is in a candidate.

People don’t seem to like Mitt or even Fred as much as they like Huckabee or McCain. This has nothing to do with political positions . . it is just personality.

I won’t be happy with Mitt or Rudy but they’re infinitely better than the Dem socialists. McCain and, especially, Huckabee, are so horrible that I can’t support them under any circumstance.

It’s better IMO that the Republican party crashes and burns than put a Republican socialist in power. I can only pray that the conservatives can arise from the ashes.

Go Fred!!!

Duncan is probably second best but he seems too much of a fan of using the federal government to push his agenda (much of what I agree with, but the ends don’t justify the means).

Plus, as noted, he stands as much chance of being elected as you, me, or the postman.

“Stay classy, Solov!”

A bit of hypocrisy on your part Petronski? You can belitle, but others can't?

I'm gonna write this company and suggest they change the product's name to FREDAMUCIL. It would be marketed towards grumpy old men that can't deal with losing. It will help make them "regular" guys again with sweeter dispositions.
