This appears to be Coughlin's paper that has caused the ruckus and got him fired by England's special assistant. (as discussed in numerous previous threads)
Careful, it's long (333 pages) and a undoubtedly scholarly tome.

(brityank - the Bostom link is not opening this morining. It must be overloaded)
No. Islam's own words about Coughlin, "a Christian zealot with a pen", (in light of Coughlin's monumental work) should give England pause to at least re-think. If mental mistakes were made he can admit them to himself. Going forward it will be interesting to examine his words & deeds. Islam has already indicted himself/itself.
Thanks jihadwatch poster USorThem for the link in post# 101.
>The question isnt just whom to believe, but whos running this show?<
Alarming.
Thanks for the Emerson link.
The Bostom page opened for me just now; could be load related.
Cheers.
Thanks for the ping. Read it. Very good article. Reinforces Coughlin’s “Current Approach” thesis, in regards to the congresswoman. Good defense. Questionable offense.
Perhaps she doesn’t want to go after Islam’s waterboy, Islam. /sarcasm /to work.
I've written extensively on the subject and have all along hated the term "moderate" and "extremist".
Did you see this one, very recently posted by K-oneTexas?

Dr Rowan Williams: 'We have to think about the rule of law in a society of overlapping identities' ...
One clear point that emerges from this issue: Major Coughlins thesis must be read by everyone responsible for ensuring the safety of America. If we fail to emerge victorious, our radical enemy threatens to establish fascist, Taliban-style governments in many parts of the world. These would be constructed around a system of rules so severe that women are forced to be second-class citizens- as in Taliban-era Afghanistan. In such a society, I would be put to death for writing this piece. In order to ensure that the ideals of our founders persist into the next generation, Americans must be willing to confront the enemy head-onand be smart about it.
Major Coughlins thesis must be read by everyone responsible for ensuring the safety of America...
MAKE IT PUBLIC! LET EVERYONE READ IT! WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING OUR SAFETY!

Ignoring What Extremists Say About Jihad

Thanks. Your link is a better article with quotes from several interested parties.
“Mr Phillips was the first prominent Labour figure to condemn multiculturalism”...(he states later in the article)...”Follow the logic of this extreme multiculturalism through and where do we end up?”
Here’s where, Mr. Phillips...
Winston Churchill said it best in the River War speech (1899)...
“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
“Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die. But the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”
At that time little did he realize the ominous parallels to another another anti-life collectivist who was only 10 years old, that he would have to fight in his lifetime.
