Andrew Figueiredo thought he was just taking a vitamin and a dietary supplement, but South Middleton School District administrators say he was taking medication without authorization and suspended him.

Now the father of the Boiling Springs High School senior is demanding a public apology, saying this is a case of “Zero tolerance equals zero common sense.”

More zero tolerance madness. We need zero tolerance for school administrators who can't, or won't, think. One strike and you're out.

These same zero tolerance schools who would suspend a kid for a vitamin would drive your daughter to get a secret abortion! (At least they do in CA)

And, in one of the New England states it’s apparently legal to take a minor child as young as 11 to a clinic to get them the abortion pill, or put them on birth control without parental notification. The madness of these loons is frightening.

I detest zero tolerance, but why can’t this stuff be taken at home?

In some cases, a person has to wait so many hours after taking needed medicines. Such as someone on thyroid hormone replacements; after taking it, you have to wait four hours before you take calcium. And for someone like me that has low blood calcium, four hours can be a darn long time.
