Conservative Voters: It's time to take a stand. If you are a conservative voter, what does that mean to you? Are you willing to buck the media and talk pundits and vote true conservative? If not, 2008 may prove to be the death of conservatism, as we know it. We have republican candidates that are no more conservative than the man in the moon yet they are running as conservatives republicans. The media has seen to that.

After watching the lady in red say that Fred Thompson won but he's too late..I think this is appropriate.

Conservatism is being drowned by the Kennedy Wing of the Republican party. We need to stand up now or conservatism will cease to be a viable part of America.

Here is what Rasmussen had to say about Fred in South

“Carolina in the latest poll:
Fred Thompson’s support is the most solid of all the candidates. Sixty-six percent (66%) of his supporters are “certain” they will vote for him. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of Huckabee supporters are that “certain” along with 49% of McCain backers and 48% of those who currently favor Romney.

Thompson is viewed favorably by 72% of Likely Primary voters in the Palmetto State, McCain by 71% and Huckabee by 69%. Romney’s favorables are at 68%, Giuliani is at 60%, and Ron Paul at 36%. “

I was flabbergasted by her statement.

Iowa doesn’t have many conservatives and it’s a caucus, not a primary. As a bellweather state it equals a rimless zero. New Hampshire has wide open voting where out-of-staters can come in and independents vote, so that doesn’t mean much to us true conservatives. Wyoming is the place few candidates even visit. The selection process is just getting underway.

To say the show is over makes me believe she has never voted before 2008.

Today, disenfranchised conservative voters gathered in Charleston North Carolina. Patrick Henry of Astabullah, Miss., was widely quoted as saying: Fib me Tiberly of Fib me Breath. Some thought him dyslexic.

Remember what happens when a large group of Americans become disenfranchised. Its never pretty.

So actually its no joke.

Fiddle On, MSM.

I just think that when people take time and really listen, the obvious conservative will float to the top. The problem in the other debates is that Fred never had enough time and his frustration was apparent.

I knew something was up starting yesterday when FOX started giving Fred and Jeri time on their shows.

I agree with Mr. Tall Horse’s comments; however; the media is only the means in which the powers that be operate. It’s the powers that be that are the problem.

I’m standing up for Conservatism. I’m voting for Fred. I knew where he stood in 1994 when he first ran and I know where he stands today. He has never been lazy, he worked a day and night job to earn money to get into school, he won scholarships to get into Law School. He’s been poor and he’s an example of the American dream working himself up from nothing. Hardly a slouch by any measure except by a media who wants us to elect the anointed.

I come from one of the old blue states, West Virginia. I know how it is to make less than $10,000 and be going to school and having my first child. The Democrat party has squandered the wealth of my birth state and has suffered because of it. I am a conservative Republican because of the uplifting principles that speak to a faith in God and the the ability of man to rise above his means through hard work and perseverance. I do not want to vote for a Republican party that sells me faith in Government and dependence on little kings for my bread.

As well as the sheeple that blindly follow the media and accept their assessment of candidates, while not trusting them to report the war fairly.

Absolutely nothing. That's what happens when conservatives get disenfranchised.

I agree whole heartedly with you Kitty. I am sick to death of a handful of people trying to mold this country into what THEY want it to be.

That's why I thought Limbaugh might break tradition. He is his own media. I guress I was wrong about that, but I agree with you. I see the media systematically chewing up, spitting out, and discarding conservatism. Centrists are "where it's at". Conservatism is dead because they say it is.
