To: Tennessee Nana; verklaring
Verklaring's was a good "clarification" (as his/her name suggests):

[all Christians should be] "be subject to one another in the fear of Christ" and...
"the wives ought to be to their husbands, as the church is subject to Christ, in everything"
...and, of course, the Bible is consistent.
What is it about "everything" that stiffens your neck, or in what things would Christ be subject to the Church, would you prefer?

Huckabee is just going PC, as liberals are wont to do.

WHHHHAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT ???????????

I think you reading too much in my comment that really wasnt there...

The question was put to Huck to entrap him into an answer that could be spun as the “enslavement” of women...

He sidestepped it and used a scripture that meant much the same but went both ways between men and women...

I dont know where you mormons get your strange ideas...

Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God...Ephesians 5:21 ...has nothing to do with Jesus but everything to do with the Body of Christ, the believers, and how we should interact with one another..

The MSM dont read the Bible and dont know what is in it, and Huck knew that...when the questioner asked whether wives should submit to their husbands, the idea that the submission should be when he required her to do only Godly things was not part of it...

Wives, submit ytourselves unto your own husbands, AS UNTO THE LORD Ephesians 5:22 does not suggest that women must obey a husband who orders them to get drunk or to prostitute herself, or work to support him while he stays home with the TV, etc for Jesus would never command her to do so...but the pundits claim this is what Christian men are requiring of their wives...enslavement to his desires, and not the freedom and protection that God intended...

There was no easy way to answer such an unfair question, and I doubt you could have done it in that short of time without further criticism...you are not quick on your feet when it comes to the Bible..

I dont intend to vote for Huck, but I’ll back up any Christian who is so challenged and pray that God will provide a way of escape...Huck did fine..
