WASHINGTON, Jan 9 (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates will consider a proposal to send some 3,000 additional U.S. troops to Afghanistan to thwart any spring offensive by Taliban militants, the Pentagon said on Wednesday."He will take it and consider it thoroughly before approving it," Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said. The troops would be provided by the U.S. Marine Corps, he said.
Marines.
Sweet.
Still waiting for the “Taliban spring offensive”... the last ones turn out to be “Taliban corpse stackings”.
I wonder what percentage of our current military now has actual combat experience?
Another significant advantage we have on any potential adversary...
Excellent...that should reduce the number of cowardly Taliban.
Welcome to FR!
The New York Times will be pushing their annual Taliban Spring offensive once again. Like you said we will have a major body stacking party once again. Hahahahahahaha.
