Agreed. Let's have a one state solution and Jews and Arabs will live happily together ever after.

It is just immigration. It isn’t an invasion. The people should learn to live alongside one another and be happy. < /s >

They expect us to take this position in this country.

Jordan is the true Palestinian state, and it is over 70% Palestinian now. USA cannot found or support one more Palestinian state.

At the same time, Bush avoids discussing the Mexican right-of-return in the occupied Aztlan territories.

What about the Right of Return to Jordan, where most of them came from.

I am woefully ignorant on this topic, so am asking for help . . . my first reaction was, “Well, they have every right to return to Jordan.”

Is my understanding correct, that today’s Palestinian is yesterday’s Jordanian?

The way I understand it, when the British separated the former Trans-Jordan in 1948, they gave the larger half to the Arabs (Jordan), and the smaller half to the Jews (Israel). Some of the former Arab residents of the Western half of Trans-Jordan (Israel) were uprooted during the ensuing Arab-Israeli war, and now millions of Arabs claim to have the right to return to "Palestine" (Israel), regardless of prior citizenship or whether they even visited there.

To grant an unlimited right of return would be the end of the Jewish state, as then Arabs would be in the majority, and everything would quickly go to heck.

Technically, Jordan should invite and take them in. So should the oil-rich Arab countries all around who are so "concerned" with the "occupation" of "Palestine.

But they won't. The Palestinians are useful pawns in their eternal wretchedness, and only the destruction of Israel will end their plight.

Yes, they should have every right to return to Jordan.

The Palestinians will not support any solution that does not include the entire nation of Israel ceasing to exist. We already know this. Why debate it any further?

Great, George. Now, let’s talk about the Mexicans’ right to return the southwest to Mexico...

The situation is almost exactly analogous. One difference is that there always Jews in Palestine, at least as for the last few thousand years. There were not always English speaking Gringos in the Southwest. Of course there weren't always Spanish speaking Mestizos either. (The same is true of Muslim Arabs. There were no Muslims anywhere when the Jews first appeared in Palistine , and few or none in Palistine until well after the Pedaphile Mo went to his just reward. There were Christians well before Mo's time.

I would have reported "abuse" but realized it wasn't Bush that posted this. Hey, at least Christian radio stations aren't playing that danged Bush song that makes him out to be a real live Bible thumper.

At the same time Bush called for all issues to be addressed during negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians - including the Palestinian 'right of return.'

Okay...there should be a right for ALL Jewish refugees that were forced to flee with their lives in and around 1948 to have a "right to recompense" for all the Arab countries that ripped them off and they came penniless to a land infested with malaria and immediately at wr with six nations, around 800,000 Jews. Then let these squatters turn in all weapons, including all weapons under the Al Aqsa mosque then neuter the men...and women, cut off heir right hands and Saudi Arabia who are always benevolent to "martyrs" families can borrow their religious sandbox where they worship a ...black rock?..maybe there's some undesirable radioactive dirt in the Negev somewhere? These people can go back to where they came from...heck even the Egyptian's running Egypt have very little "blood" from the pharoahs, they're all squatting parasites looking for a free UN handout, tools in the international con game....does it sound like I hate this whole affair yet?

In about one hours time I am going to pray for ten plagues to hit every single alleged pali, and every other Arab nation that loves this con job... and Bush to "return" to America along with Condi and any other Foggy Bottom idiot and be cursed with a good dose of Philistine hemorrhoids until they repent. That's just for starters...maybe they'll fall for the old ,"gotta be circumcised first." Come on G!d if no one else will listen stop this thing...its sheer madness. I DID NOT VOTE FOR AMERICA TO DELVE INTO THIS..Genesis 15:18

Thus endeth my vent...da*n, just dam*

Please. Every American President will ask for the same thing, the Israelis will nod and say yeah sure and the next Pali rocket attack will negate it.

Has been going on for 40 years. Why should it be any different now?

What is the deal?

Zechariah 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. 2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

I agree. What land ownership should be returned to when people are going to proclaim “divine right” or “historical reparations” to a territory?

I don’t know how Palestinians are going to actually implement their “right of return”. The Palestinians in camps such as in Lebanon are dangerous terrorists who have lost all work skills, living like that for generations. No country wants them around & I can’t see how the more Westernized Palestinians are going to be able/willing to absorb them.

“Palestine” is a failed state before it even begins.

They have all those huge iron (& cardboard) keys!

Yeah, they have a "right of return" to anything those keys can unlock!

Or Bush genuinely hates the idea of a Jewish homeland.

Either way, the guy is a something that can’t be mentioned in the presence of children.

Bush betrayed his party, his country and the conservative movement.

Thanks to his incompetence and failure to uphold his oath of office, we lost the last mid term elections and Congress (although he had help from Denny Hastert et al.) and the Republicans willll have a hard time in 2008.

It wsa no accident last night that Ronald Reagan was invoked by all the candidates, but “Bush” was not mentioned.
