get real....

Duncan Hunter is a great man and conservative but in the overall scheme of things he is merely a congressman from California with practically no national name recognition and an absymal showing in the three primaries to date.

He needs to oust one of the senators or the governor before running again. Could he do that? No. How can he be considered for President if he couldn’t carry California?

He came in third in WY. And he was within 6 votes of winning the largest SC straw poll. AND he paid his $25K to be on the ballot. And he has been endorsed by the Missouri and Nevada republican Assemblies. Hardly a fringer.

He is being looked at in CA for governor. That is a ways off yet. This election hasn’t even happened yet. And Hunter has my vote even if I have to write him in.

None are qualified except Sinators and Goobernors? Even when the candidates who were in senate, such as Nachos McCain (and his good buddy “Aspirations of Citizenship for illegals” FRed Thompson) or a governor like FLIP Romney (and Nanny Huckleberry) have already proven that they cannot be trusted with presidency)?

Well, better scratch Rooty and rest of the field and leave it up to the RINOs to appoint whomever Ratsmussen and Zogby tell them to, but only if the choices are between FLIP Romney, Huckster, FRed & McLoon. GET REEEEL!

You're statement ignores one fundamental fact. He is a Presidential candidate. All candidates deserve equal time if the electoral process is to mean anything. One person or a very small group of people determined Hunter should not be included and thereby usurped the rights of the people to make the decision for themselves. That is a dangerous slippery slope for one person or a select few to have that much power. It sets a precedent if one candidate is eliminated based on a preconceived assumption then it will be rationalized others can be removed from the process and could conceivably have one candidate for each party long before the primary process has been completed. That type of power concentration is not what our founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution.
